"Accept every emotion to be a better you"
That's what I can think of, after watching Inside Out 2.
Here's what I learn from the nice movie
1. Visual effect: combine 2D and 3D
The story is in 3D form, which made up of x,y and z axis. Like a solid item.
It's kind of interesting to see 2D cartoon characters "Bloofy & Pouchy" a.k.a Riley's favourite preschool show "Bloofy's House"
It helps to differentiate 2D is exactly the cartoon vs 3D as if the real life.
2. It's OK to accept, acknowledge different emotion within you
The story includes current emotions: Joy, sadness, fear, anger & disgust that made up of Riley's 1st sense of self.
Then, the new emotion gang: anxiety, envy, embarrassment & ennui come.
There reach a climax that cause Riley's anxiety increased when the current group & new group have different goals to help Riley.
In the end, it's about knowing the common goal and work together.
3. Useful tips for parents with teenage children
This movie helps parent to understand teenage children better.
It helps to remind us that we used to be that teenager with confused mind, feeling.
Tell the kids that it's OK to feel differently. What's more important is parent to listen, guide them in right path.
