I got a Mug that Looks Like Me!

"Jocelyn, for you". My colleague gave me a cute present, filled in a present bag. Thanks Bella for the sweet present. I went home and opened it because it's not good to open a present in front of the person who gives you present. Tadaaaa! I got a cute mug, which is beyond cute.  I GOT A CUTE MUG, WITH THE CUTE DESIGN OF A GIRL WHO LOOKS LIKE ME! Awwwh ❤️

Inside Out 2

"Accept every emotion to be a better you" That's what I can think of, after watching Inside Out 2. Here's what I learn from the nice movie 1. Visual effect: combine 2D and 3D The story is in 3D form, which made up of x,y and z axis. Like a solid item.  It's kind of interesting to see 2D cartoon characters "Bloofy & Pouchy" a.k.a Riley's favourite preschool show "Bloofy's House" It helps to differentiate 2D is exactly the cartoon vs 3D as if the real life. 2. It's OK to accept, acknowledge different emotion within you The story includes current emotions: Joy, sadness, fear, anger & disgust that made up of Riley's 1st sense of self. Then, the new emotion gang: anxiety,  envy, embarrassment & ennui come. There reach a climax that cause Riley's anxiety increased when the current group & new group have different goals to help Riley. In the end, it's about knowing the common goal and work together. 3. Bumped into your Friend, 2 Years Later!

Sometimes, life is funny.  You plan to have lunch at a nearby kopitiam, a place you've never been to, you just "go with the flow" Someone was standing, holding a plate of kuih-muih. Someone who looked familiar.  Who is that? O yea, my old friend named T. T looked calm when saw me. Then you know I was ordering food, thinking we could chit chat for a while. I looked to the left, to the right, to the front, I couldn't see T. Did T leave? To avoid looking so awkward standing without sitting, I found a space and enjoyed my lunch. "Hey! Let's join me." T came to my table 10 minutes later. "I was looking for you yet I couldn't find you!" T took my drinks, I took my food. We sat and chit chat. You know what? 1. That fella takes the witty skill to another level T is famous for making jokes using fact and non-fact.  Although we didn't meet for 26 months, there's no akward moment during the 30 minutes. 2. No hard feeling when talking We don...

Limitless by Nick Vujicic

I was focusing on writing, and next, a book appeared on my table. "My teacher lends me this book." El Nino D said. I read it immediately. I know who Nick Vujicic is. I am thankful to his teacher to share this book, letting us to know him more. I summarise my understanding from this book: 1. Faith in God Yes, I just forget to have faith in God sometimes.  Having faith in God is important.  God listens to us when we face problem. We might not get answer directly.  Eventually,  we can see God's plan is amazing. 2. Find happiness and purpose within yourself Intrinsic motivation is vital for us to live each day with purpose and hope.  Always ask yourself questions instead of just being influenced externally without asking yourself what do you really want. We are beyond unique, stronger than we think we are. 3. Loved ones Surrounded by good loved ones does brighten up one's life. I am thankful to have amazing people in my life. At the same time, we also learn to...

"It's his Birthday!"

"He is turning 12. Let's get the fam to join us for buffet lunch." My uncle suggested to me. I looked for few hotels. It was challenging because Father's Day is just around the corner too. "Let's try Bayview Hotel". My aunt a.k.a former teacher suggested when I asked for help.  She was right. Without hesitation, I called the staff. "Yes, we have buffet lunch and it's still available for next week." The staff spoke in a friendly tone. And ta-daaaa! We were finally there. It was lovely to gather with the fam again. My uncle and aunty departed from Selangor and they were the 1st to reach the place! We ate nonstop for 3 hours. I think I am a good mother this time because I ordered Taylor Swift cake for him.  Both the kids were excited to see TS on the cake. (Past few years, he dislike taking birthday pictures vs this year he enjoyed because of TS) "Taylor Swift's cake, then you all sing TS song!" Their granduncle joked with them....

"She said Yes!"

"Girlfriend..." Did I hear the GF word? Does he have a gf?  "Well, I wasn't plan to share but yeh. You know how did we meet?" Jon talked in a serious tone. "Sure! I mean really? Girlfriend?" I was looking straight into my sister's eyes. "I was driving and saw a girl fell down in the middle of the road. I got her contact and the rest is history." He was reminiscing the past. Few years down the road, he proposed in May 2024 and she said Yes!  When both of them share strong family value, that strengthen the relationship. They love their big families.  Jon booked 2 villas for the family to witness this important day! We felt so touched, blessed because that was the very 1st time our big family had vacation out of hometown! Guess what, here's what we learn 1. "Everyone contributes different skills in this team" Jon said -Some are good in event planning, decorating, eating, having fun, taking care kids.  Each uniqueness lead to h...

"Miza Dah Nak Kahwin!"

"Bila-bila Minggu  ini kita jumpa ok?nak pass wedding card" Finally, 3 of us jumpa 2 days ago di tempat makan dekat  ngan rumah Miza. So sweet that 3 of us kenal masa MBA. Weekend kita tak g shopping mall. Kita g buat assignment, makan, chit chat.  Guess what, 2 of them kahwin tahun ini, and both are cancerians. Learn so much from them other than laughing & eating 1. Kebarong Rupanya selain batik, kebaya, baju kurung, ada yang nice call kebarong. Masih fikir apa yang mahu pakai masa wedding Miza. 2. Biasanya kita tanya warna  pakaian Host supaya tak clash Liza tanya " warna apa your family pakai" Miza jawap"blue" I thought asking mean we need wear matching, rupanya meaning we wear different than blue. New thing for me. 3. It's nice hang out weekdays More parking, less traffic jam, less crowded Boleh relax relax dan sembang. Thanks sudi jumpa walaopun both dah kahwin ya

"You Gotta Have Hobby"

"You gotta have hobby" was the answer from my buddy. Whenever I saw his story on his enjoyment in sport, family & career, I was so curious on .. How did he able to maintain youthful, no stress look by balancing every aspect of his life. One day, I gathered the courage to seek his life value.  Yes, hobby was the one keeps him going.  This is not the end. He continued "When you like something,  you take good care of the things and appreciate it" For days I was wondering what will be my hobby..I guess for now, I found 1: writing blog. Thanks mate!
